THE BUTCHER (Bass Guitar, Synthesizers, Programming) a.k.a. - "The Caro Butcher", "The Lidernachte Fiend" Ref: Lidernachte Working, Anharmonicity, Tachyon Sluice Infamous meta-physician and veteran of Detroit's Gothic/Industrial underground. Notable for his series of “Lidernachte” experiments using sound based on Fibonacci sequences and algorithmic formulae targeting the brain's pleasure centers. Use of these techniques was deemed “sadistic and unethical” as they resulted in expansion of sensation to a point of sensory overload. In 1997, during a Lidernachte performance in the ballroom of the Leland building, a faulty Gunn Diode allowed the formation of an uncontrollable feedback loop rapidly bringing about the meltdown of the entire dampening mechanism. The ensuing parametric coupling failure released hyper-amplified bulk acoustic waves at lethal levels extending into the infrasonic range. Although he survived, this accident resulted in scarring and extensive damage to the lower portion of his face leaving him horrifyingly disfigured.
